Nook Simple Touch - deleting titles

Hi
I often download books from the local library onto my computer and then copy them to my Nook. At the end of the three weeks' loan they disappear. BUT the titles stay on my Nook cluttering it up; when I hold the title, expecting a choice of Delete or Archive to come up, I get the message "This book has been returned. Loan not on record".
can anyone tell me how to get rid of them please? Thanks in advance.

You just have to connect your nook up to your PC again and then remove the titles from it using Adobe Digital Editions (I assume that's how you borrowed the library books). I think you right-click on the titles in the nook view and then select the delete title option. You can then do the same with the library in ADE. Hope that helps!
