We are getting another phase of robots posting rubbish, with or without dodgy links, to the forums. Please ignore them, and DO NOT follow the links. Thanks to the wonders of RSS feeds, IFTTT and Pushover I get a notification within a few minutes of each message being posted. I can often delete the posts and account within a few minutes of being notified - I managed to delete an account whilst it was still posting earlier in the week. However there may be times when a post stays on-line for an hour or two before I can get to it. Just ignore it and it will go away, eventually.

We had 23 messages from 3 spammers overnight. All now removed.

Unfortunately I'm probably doing them a favour by removing the posts. Google is coming down hard on any sites that are found to have many spammy forum links pointing to them - removing the sites from the Google Search listings altogether. There was a story a couple of days ago about an "SEO expert" who had sold these kind of services to a firm of lawyers. The law firm can't now be found by Google Search and they are not happy...
