My kobo touch keeps freezing. This has happened with the last three epub books I downloaded from the library. I can go 7 or 8 pages and it freezes. With the first book I had to do a reset, I returned that one and deleted it from the kobo. With the next two I had to hold the power button down til it restarted but then it wouldn't return to the page I was on. I tried downloading one from the library that I had read previously with no problem and that froze too. WPLC library is out of suggestions. Any ideas? It has not happened with purchased books.

I have the same problem. After using the nuclear option ie Factory Reset to try and sort out Wifi connection problem I find that the screen freezes after a few pages. After experimenting with the bent paperclip, trying to get into sleep mode and powering off, I found that the screen unfreezes (thaws out?) after about 50 to 60 seconds and then refreezes after reading another few pages. Makes for slow reading! The other problem is WiFi. Until about a week ago my Touch connected with my home network without any problems. Now it cannot even see it let alone connect even when only a few feet from the route. I've tried entering the network name and WEP password. The 2 PCs and a Nexus7 all connect OK. I haven't altered any settings on the router (wouldn't know how to) or changed anything in any way. All suggestions will be gratefully received.

Identical problem here. I have an original Kobo and when I did a factory reset it upgraded to "touch". Now I have the freezing problem with is SO annoying. I joined this group in hopes of finding an answer.

Does anyone have any idea how to rectify this problem?

Thanks in advance.
