General Rules Updated 14th December 2012
  • Please don't post abusive or spam messages
  • Please don't be rude or abusive to other members. General banter and even heated debate is fine but personal attacks, bullying or harassment will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
  • Please don't post or link to illegal downloads of copyrighted material
  • Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, and the like
  • Being annoying and flouting the rules willl result in a temporary or permanent ban.
  • Have fun and make this a great place for everyone
  • Private Messages are NOT intended to be a way to advertise or promote books or other goods. Sending bulk messages like this is not allowed and will be classed as spamming.

Author PR Rules

Authors may do the following ONCE per 24 hour period
  • Post one new thread in the PR section. A one thread per book rule also applies, so if you already have a thread, you may bump the old thread by adding an extra post to it, but not start another one.

Failure to observe these rules will result in the deletion of offending posts plus a possible time based ban on your account for repeat offences. Also note that we do not allow members to register multiple accounts and any form of sock-puppetry is also forbidden. Our moderators are a clever bunch and can spot things like this a mile off, so please act fairly and everyone will be happy.

Also, please remember to drop reference tags around the text any time you mention an author or book title (unless of course you are using them as regular links) See here for details.

Thank you,

The Nobooko.com Team

I am brand new and almost computer illiterate so I hope everyone will bear with me. I am totally lost. It took me several days to set up my ereader, and still not too sure how it works. I accept all your rules of use. Are there any books by christian authors out there? Thank you.

Hi there! We were all beginners once and remember what it was like. Although we have only just started, this community is rapidly growing and I'm sure there will be someone around who can answer any questions you have.

What ereader do you have?

Yes, plenty. For example if you go to the Kobo book store it has a "Religion & Spirituality" section that has sub-sections for:
  • Theology
  • Christianity
  • Bible and Bible Studies

and so on. The "Christianity" sub-category alone has over 18,000 titles listed so there should be something covering most sub-genres. The Nook book store lists similar numbers of Christian books.
