For those of a technical persuasion here's an interesting page on hacking the Kobo Touch including how to telnet in over Wi-Fi and capture screenshots. It includes some interesting architectural information.

Replying to myself (first sign of madness) - this MobileRead forum contains a lot of Kobo hacking information. It appears that OS and document storage are all on an internal micro-SD card and it's possible to clone to a bigger card and end up with a 32 Gbyte Kobo Touch/Mini... that would be pretty awesome!

That's quite interesting about the larger card, although I'm not expecting to fill mine to capacity any time soon. I wonder if there are any Nook hacks - will have to have a look.

MobileRead is a great forum for eReader hackers.

Someone has got Python running on it - if it were possible to get Vi running on screen too I'd certainly be buying another Kobo Mini...
