My digital library books will not download to adobe, error message is:"Adobe reader could not open URLLink(3) ACSM because it is either not a supported file or......"
Would be grateful for any advice. The library operator , Bolinda, does not seem to have a clue.

The acsm file is usually the file you click in your browser that downloads the E-book.If you look in the downloads file on your computer you will see the downloaded file.It looks like an icon of a floppy disk with adi on it and says the books title and e pub.First question have you authorised the Adobe digital editions on your machine,if you have you should be O.K. .Downloading from say KOBO ,go to your library on the reader the press download on the list that comes up when the required book appears.it usually has little buttons under your library book.press the download up pops a window asking if you want to download ,press download. That automatically opens Adobe and says fulfilling request.

Many thanks. I have returned to the library with your advice, and have succeeded in downloading.
