Here's an interesting map showing how much time people around the world spend reading. It is based on Russian research, so breaks out Russian texts and the sample size is a little small, but for all that it is quite interesting.

It prompted me to work out how much time I spent reading novels per week and I was surprised to find it was only six and half to seven hours a week. I'd thought it would tot up to rather more.

Well, maybe it doesn't matter how many time you spend reading... maybe it's more important how much you read in a time period, isn't it?
I mean, one could either spend 5 hours a week reading 50 pages or spend 3 hours and reading 100 pages Smile
